It Wasn't a Plan.
It Was a Calling.

Ms Nicky's story doesn't start with a pitch deck or a five-year plan. It starts with movement — a BA in Dance from the University of Washington, ROTC training, years of teaching dance and fitness, and eventually an MBA earned while living abroad in Germany. She has always been building something. The question was just what.

She came back to the US from Germany at the end of 2019 with two daughters who had just switched from German schools to American ones, a son on the East Coast she was worried about, and a life she was rebuilding from scratch.

In February 2020 she enrolled in esthetics school. You know what happened next. The world shut down. Her daughters went from American classrooms straight to online school. Everything stopped — except Ms Nicky. She kept going.

The business started in Henderson, Nevada. Then moved to Englewood, Colorado. Now New Jersey. Three states. Multiple pivots. And through all of it — a divorce, chronic physical pain, a bipolar diagnosis that finally made years of her life make sense, perimenopause, three kids, and hands that sometimes go numb while she's working — the business survived. More than survived. It grew.

The original vision was simple: facials after workouts. A place where women who had worked hard to transform their bodies could feel beautiful in them. A safe haven for people dealing with mental health struggles — including herself. She had carried that weight for years before she had a name for it. Building MNBS was part of her own healing.

Esthetics school introduced her to body sculpting. Body sculpting kept pointing to lymphatic drainage. And lymphatic drainage sent her somewhere she never expected to go. She got her massage therapy license specifically to do it right. Then training after training — SMRT, Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage with Josie Rushing, KLOSE, burn scar therapy, Thai massage in Costa Rica, raw foods nutrition in Panama with Dr. Aris Latham. Each one pulled by genuine curiosity and a refusal to do anything halfway.

Brazilian Lymphatic training introduced her to Isabel Alysa — founder of Dolce Glow, celebrity spray tan artist, and someone Ms Nicky trained with personally, including working alongside her at a pre-Coachella event. Then a client — who became a close friend — mentioned a specialist in Lymphomodelling®. Ms Nicky looked her up. Traveled to Milan, Italy. Trained with founder Manuela Shala six times. Assisted her US classes. And became the first and only Lymphomodelling® Premium Therapist in the United States.

The sound healing thread runs just as deep. Biofield Tuning training with founder Eileen Day McKusick opened the door to the Koren Brothers and their Sonic Anatomy program — where Ms Nicky also completed The Songwriter's Journey, a songwriting course that became its own healing experience. She recorded her first song in their studio. That thread of sound, voice, and vibration is what became the foundation of her vocal healing work and her forthcoming book, The Power of the Moan.

Meanwhile the performance career never stopped. SAG-AFTRA since 1992. Actress in commercials and film. Singer at military events, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Denver Nuggets, and events alongside Senator Cory Booker. International speaker. A woman who has always moved between worlds — and brought everything from each one back into the work.

None of it was planned. Every bit of it was earned.
